I found my escapee hognose!!! He was so small and I had NO idea where he had gotten out from that I thought I would NEVER find the little worm! (I have actually seen worms bigger than this guy. ..)

Where was he? Not outside like I feared...not in my house like I hoped....nope....he was in the ONE place I SWORE he wasn't...my car!

After a turbulent week, I was sitting in my car in the parking lot of my work place, just listening to a morning show I like, and happened to see movment out of the corner of my eye, looked over...and BAM! There he was! Crawling over my radio dials! WTF!

I am hoping this is a good omeb for the craptacular week I have had so far....anyway, managed to snap a quick pic of him before hunting down a container. (Which happens to be a metal drinking bottle that will be sitting on my desk all day at work now....)

Kinda surprised he didn't die in my car with as hot as it's been getting, but I'llmake sure to give him a good soak tonight to help hydrate him.

Awesome. Its amazing how they turn up.
I lost Nelson and we found her outside in our shed under a piece of plywood. Not the first snake Ive lost and found over the years either.
One time we lost a ball python when a friend was supposed to be watching them while on vacation and found her 3 mnths later in the walls of the house.

Even if I did I need to keep him hidden from co-workers. The bottle has a snap cap at the top that I'm leaving open for air. Luckily today is a normal shift and not one of my 12 hr ones.

He weathered the day at work wonderfully! Also, took a large pinky as soon as I got home. I know most people wait a while, but my last few have taken meals quickly and easily so just wanted to try. Sure enough, he didn't disapoint! Part of that was probably being lost in an ungodly hot car for a week. O.o
