Hey guys.

My name is Anthony Caponetto, and this is my first post here. I'm a friend of Jim Kuroski at moreliapythons.com, who told me to come see what you all think.

I know my Carpets, but this thing is throwing me way off. I have no history on this animal whatsoever, but I recently found (and purchased) two others that are identical. BTW, All three came from different parts of the country.

Before you say Jungle, notice the orange at the bottom of it's sides...and notice how the yellow is turning tan.

If anyone else has carpets that look like this, and they can verify what it is or if it was wild caught, I would be very grateful for the info...not to mention, very interested in buying yours. lol.

That looks like a nice IJ, the contrast between the upper and lower body usually means IJ.
I would guess about 3 feet.

welcome to the dark side Anthony.

No, but I have several friends that do it on a weekly basis. I can handle exporting the animals to Europe.

Did you ever email me back?

The M. nauta are doing great. They eat frozen/thawed rat fuzzies every week.

I've said that too. Funny thing is, I've found three of these carpets and they are different ages and came from different places around the country. If they are crosses, that means someone would've had to breed really similar looking jungles to really similar looking Irian Jayas. Odds are, it's probably just an odd looking type/locale of Irian Jaya.

welcome to the dark side Anthony.

This one is tiny...16" long at the most. It's an older animal, hatched in early '02 or late '01. It has supposedly always been a picky feeder, and that seems to be true. I've had it two months, and it's only eaten one time. It's by far the worst feeding Carpet I've ever had.

The dark side, eh?

You were one of two guys that Jim Kuroski told me to talk to. Do you have any idea where you may have seen them? If you can't tell, I'm on a mission.
