Hey everyone
I scored a great deal on a "used" but never used 24x18x24 exo terra and in the box stand. Now the plan was originally for crested geckos but I thought I'd ask anyway. Is there a small semi-aboreal snake that could live it's life in a cage this size?

I'm not really sure, but maybe a smooth green snake? I know they aren't snakes but you could probably put a couple dart frogs in there, or a pair of the smaller day geckos.

Darts aren't sobe anyone's level, you just need to pick the right species that Fits your house best. I was going to get a couple but got a new job and I'm out of town all week so that went tits up.
Maybe you could do anoles?
Edit: my mistake you wanted suggestions for snakes...
Is that too small for a hognose?

Rough green snake.
Ribbon snake.
Garter snake.
It'll be on the smaller side. Interesting part is that all three of those are diurnal so you'll see them all the time. All their diets are neat too.

Adrian might have another suggestion too. Talk to Karen about what she can bring in.

I was in the other day on my way home from work but he wasn't there then. I'll have to stop by again soon. Karen was supposed to be bringing in a MBK for me.

Maybe a slight oversight.
Did they say their suppliers have them?

Never got any specific info. They had a few babies back in May but they were all spoken for. Was told they would have one in in June.

Just stopped by on my way home today. They still haven't located a baby male MBK. Have a few semi grown ones, not sure on sex.
But they did have an Indonesian vine snake that has been successfully switched to mice hoppers so now I have to do more research on them. Adrian thought he was aggressive but he was very relaxed when I held him for awhile. Wasn't cage defensive or anything. He had just heard that he was from someone else there.
A Indo vine snake on rodents just might be the perfect fit for that tank. Karen told me he eats great and does well in the store humidity levels.

Decided to pull the trigger. The snake is on hold while I get the tank setup.

So this is my first crack at setting up the tank. Picked up the pothos and crotons today and planted them. Some bamboo branches from the dollar store cut to size (ended up with more a bit too short then that work) And 2 fake vines to increase climbing area. I'll probably add some more bamboo branches at a later date as I want to add a few closer to the ground. One fake plant top left to help take up space and make the snake be less exposed. Once the plants grow enough I'll take it out.
Appreatie any feedback or tips on how I can improve it.

As many of you know my vine has passed. Haven't really felt motivated to set the cage back up for anything. Most of the plants are dead. Thought I'd bring this back just to see for curiosity. I think this time I'll set up a planted crestie tank with 2 females. I recently adopted a leo in poor health. So hoping he pulls through I'll have a lizard to hold so I'm open to a snake that is more display then holding. Or lizard for that manner.
Other than vine snakes what other snakes would fit in this cage for life you can actually buy up here?
