When I bought this little dream from Dean Turner, i was advised to start her on mice and then later on change to rats. Today ws the day for her first rat and she did not hesitate at all :)

I still have no idea why anybody says to start retics on mice. They can take rats out of the egg and there's no reason to risk them getting stuck on mice.

She's gorgeous though. She looks quite content with a belly full of rat!

What about SD's? Idk how small mine was when hatching but when he got here I gave him rat fuzzies and he's now on hoppers at almost a year old.

Yup, still can. They can take rat pinks out of the egg and some might be able to take fuzzies.
