I have been working on a new enclosure for a few months and can not seem to find the hardware for the sliding glass doors anywhere. I am wondering what people have used and where they found it? Also how thick of glass do you recommend? The cage is not a standard size so I would need a track system that I am able to modify.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but there seems to be quite a few options on amazon.

Stanley Hardware 40-3426 1/4" X 6' Plastic Track in White Coated - Screen Door Hardware - Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Hardware-40-3426-Plastic-Coated/dp/B000NHLJE6/ref=pd_sim_60_6?ie=UTF8&refRID=1SC08CBFT3B1C4YGNJYA)
Thinnest glass doors I've used were 1/8" and right now my AP cages have glass doors that are 1/4" thick. I prefer the 1/4".

I ran across a post on a facebook group about using 2x4's split in half, with 1/4" wide channels cut on a table saw for the glass. Use 3/16" thick for most snakes, 1/8" is too flimsy. Tempered is best, you can get it cut to size and tempered from a local glass shop.

If you are asking about the rails the glass slides in . These people have all different kinds of parts . I used 3/16 for my door but the glass is solid mounted. https://www.orangealuminum.com/

It's expensive to ship the tracks. If you can, see if there's a free site to store option. Do it best has that I think. Def don't use 1/8" glass, I have some of that and while it's OK if you're extremely careful it cannot take much abuse at all without cracking so I don't recommend it.

I went through all this not long ago. Glass is the obvious and best choice, but is so expensive and heavy. It's dangerous if it isn't tempered, but even more expensive if it is. Plexiglass is more easily scratched (although even tempered glass can be scratched very badly) and can be even more expensive than tempered glass if it is thick enough to be rigid. Thin plexi is cheap, but flimsy. So, this is what I've tried...
I got thin, cheap plexiglass and cut it to the size of the front of my cages. See my thread "Maybe Overdid it". I bolted a wooden "splint" to either side to keep the plastic stiff from top to bottom. A thin groove in the top and bottom of the cage keep the plexi stiff from side-to-side. Notches in the splints allow me to lift the plexi up and out of the bottom groove (the top groove is deeper) and simply lift the entire door off the cage. I only have the two cages so far, and I don't have snakes in them just yet, so maybe it won't work as planned, but I think it's simple, cheap, and hopefully escape-proof. No frames, no hinges, no latches, no hardware, no locks (I have designed a simple lock for it), and full viewing area. I'll let everyone know if it doesn't work.
