After looking at all the pet stores for dual themometer I decided to go to Home Depot and check. I found this beauty for 25 bucks CDN and it has an programable alarm and also reads Realitive Humidity, has a clock and does C and F. Just thought I would share.
P.S. the bottom temp range was substrate and was fixed up in a hurry. I have the hot side now at aprox 93 F.

very cool. I am using a similar model from Radio Shack, which cost about $30, but has no clock/light.
That's pretty cool. We'll have to go get some.
I am using a simmilar thermometer with EVRYTHING u mention PLUS a probe .. It actually takes the LOW and HIGHS at TWO different spots at the same time.. it's the size of an egg....
14.99$ at home depot.. they just came out in the past month.. they work wonders...
Supposably it was on sale a while ago to for about 8 bucks! Trust me .. it really is worth the 15$..

I saw the one egg shaped, and compared it to this one, which does have a probe and takes the lows and highs etc. The reason i got this was cause i didnt want to always reach inside to bring it to eye level so i didnt have to squint to read it if I forgot to put on my glasses...lol So for 10 bucks more I can see the numbers and not have to worry about my glasses.:D

If your talking about this one (http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F007%5F013%5F003%5F000&product%5Fid=22%2D325) , it is one of those infra red lazer pointer digital instant thermometer thingys:D I use one and they work great.
the one im talking about is kind of like a temperature gun. that one looks good too tho.

But why buy the gun when this does the same thing and is a whole lot cheaper. The only benefit I see from a gun is that some also measure humidity, but those start at around $100US.
I have one of those temps gauges they sell them at super walmart. for $19 and I love it. I can check the temps and not have to push any buttons or even open the cage. Well worth the money. I have also checked them against a temp gun and they are pretty acurate.
