View Full Version : Black headed python Information.
I spent some time with a large black headed python at the reptile expo and I'm curious as to what it takes to care for these snakes. I think they might be next on my list to get but they would be by far the largest snake I would have ever owned. I also want to do a lot of research before making the decision to get a bhp. I've been reading posts about them on here and it makes them all the more fascinating. Any information would be helpful.
I would also like to hear more as well. Especially since I've read somewhere you have to wean them off reptiles onto rats. That might be when they are just hatched though.
Derek Roddy is a breeder of them and on this site.

There's quite a few of them down here. I just started doing my research into them two days ago because I'm hoping to get one soon
