It seems I'm 2 for 2 having pets that are little jerks about the stuff I buy for them. Lets start with the diva Nahla bought or made several cat trees, beds, toys etc. Half the stuff she looks at once then walks away never to be gone near again. Other stuff she likes a lot and a few she liked then suddenly stopped for a year then started again then stopped again. It seems Mushu is the same, some of the decor I bought him he hasn't used and seemed scared of. Bought a half log which since got infected with mold so it's outside but he never when in it once. I bought some fake plants to help clutter the bottom of the cage and create shady spots for him to travel through from one hide to the other and he goes behind a piece of wood squeezing behind that and the back of the cage to go around them. Something he never did before they were there and stopped once I removed them. After just eating he hung out in the open for a few minutes and on his way to the hot hide just witnessed him poke his head into the new cork round I bought a few weeks ago when mold ruined the log half. He poked his head in backtracked and went around it. He went half inside his hide then stopped and of course in true fashion he left his hide after to come through the cork round while I'm typing this. I'm not sure if they are jerks on purpose 100% or they have to mess with you a little bit too..... I laugh but they are still little jerks.
They both seem different, he just eats a small rat and instead of going into one his hides he goes half in twice then lazily explores the cage. Seems I have a BP that is more active after feeding going over his hide and around instead of in.
