I'm planning on getting her within 2 weeks. The guy said his camera on his phone sucks and that these pics don't do her justice.

Congrats, nice looking retic. She looks small to me for her age tho, but i guess some real experts can shed more light onto that ;)

Haha i hope so PatrickT itd be upsetting if not. David VB i thought so too cuz from what ive read most retics are 10ft by 2 years.

I'd look into its size a bit close. Bali retics are still bigger locale, just not huge. Sumatrans are the big boys. Some of the largest in the world. For a three year old, especially female to be that size, I'd be wary. Not to say there is anything wrong with this snake. But I'd want proof of age and health. Unless you don't care about having a giant.

She extremely docile dont need a hook but she is gook trained and you can even hold her head and it doesnt phase her. Shes been raised around a 4y/o, 7y/o and 12y/o children and they can handle her with their dads supervision of course. He has a large female he calls big mama and shes a 23ft retic! She huge, beautiful and just as docile. I thought retics were rapid growers which 8ft at 3 years isnt very large the guy isnt guaranteeing size she'll be he said one of her parents is a dwarf cross though but as he stated that doesnt mean anything.

I never caught on what you said in your original post, 8 foot is small for a 3 year old female Jenny is around 10 and she's not 2 years old until the end of this month. So I would say the dwarf blood in her is playing some part in her growth

I thought 8ft at 3 years old was rather small as well. I think the dwarf plays a big part.

I definitely see bali influence in her. Shes beautiful.

She does seem quite small for the age; in length and girth. I'd ask what kind of feeding schedule she's been on. Balis are a "dwarfish" mainland. But still big animals.... My pure bali female is right at about 7 foot and aorund a year old on a healthy feeding schedule(not powered or underfed... I really don't care if she's big or small). Even if she has dwarf blood that's rather small for the age. My pure kalatoa(super dwarf) female is roughly 6.5 feet(really slender still) at around 2-2.5 years old.(I'm drawing a blank on her hatch date at the moment).

How large are you think she'll get the guy that has her is guessing around 16ft

That's probably not far off, I would guess in the 14-16ft range, but she may stay a bit smaller.

Here she is! I found out shes an import and that she is completely unrelated to any retics in the usa. Very beautiful and very rare! And such a sweet girl! :) :D
