Should the humidity of the tank be the same on the cool side as well as on the warm?

I have a ball python and I'm just not sure. She's not about to shed, but I want to make sure the humidity is right in general. Thanks

Not necesarily. I keep the water bowl of my guys in the cool side, there's a little more humidity % in that side for sure. If the humidity is low where you live, you could put an additional water souce in the enclosure or, mist it once a day.

The humidity usually isnt perfectly balanced simply because most heat sources and lamps dry it a bit but as long as the average humidity is good no worries there.

for a ball python in shed 70 to 80% would be perfect. but a bp that is not in shed can be kept around 60 to 65% just mist once a day and u should be good, if you have a screen top have a piece of plexi glass cut to go over it or mod the top with aluminum foil silver side down with gorilla tape to hold in place. I have both ways as I am working on getting pro cages right now for my reptile room, both ways hold heat and humidity great, heat lamps and ceramic heat emitter greatly dry out ur humidity conditions so you may have to mist more often. I have done these methods for a wile now and have had perfect shed every time :)
