No I didn't kill them or have anything to do with. Haven't seen them in person either. I was just asked about them. I know the bottom is a Texas Rat. They think the top one is a Water Moccasin. They said they thought it had fangs and a white mouth.

Looks like a Blotched Water to me.

It looks like a water snake to me. OK. blotched water snake sounds better. Why is it first thing people want to do is kill a snake? Sad.

The top is a Cottonmouth (aka Water Moccasin) the bottom a Texas Rat Snake.

The top one is indeed a moccasin. Sucks to see em like that but, such is ignorance.

This makes me sad. People need to be educated better about snakes. I hate that everyone is taught from a young age that "snakes are scary". Sickening to see photos like this.
