is this a burm

I need help, idetifiying this snake someone local is selling this python i just need to know if its really a burm.

the area that i live in is full of idiots, no one would be able to care for a snake of this size. nor care enough about it to ensure its health so im doing a operation rescue.

Burms are my favorite. You will notice a difference in the way they move and act compared to your Retic. They are a lot more calm and easy going. That is a real nice looking one too, I love the slightly lighter colors on it. Great snakes!

its in a 55gal tank no substrate no heat other than a house lamp bulb ugg people kill me when they are buying snakes with no knowledge behind them

thanks dave, i cant wait i so glad i finally came across one in ky thought it would never happen. she is 5 ft long that size im guessing around a year old
She is eating live prey ugg, I hope she makes the move over to frozen thawed smooth I had no problems with my corn snake making the move but i know this is no corn snake. can anyone tell me about the feeding response to a burm how much different is than that of a retic?

If my 2 are anything to go keep your hands well out of the way :D and try on F/T her first feed with you when she settles in, and if she doesn't take it feed it to your retics that way there's no waste :)

I only just started keeping giants, I love them they are just more majestic than others that my opinion i love my ball python she is a real pleasure to have she is super calm and will just hang out and curl up in my lap like a pup would, but my retic and soon to have burm i'm going to get here in a few hours, I find my most pleasure in i know what these snakes can do and i respect that, if i get bit its my fault just about every time we as keepers get bit is due to our own error wether we read the snake wrong if it having a B**** day, or we smell like rodent during feeding times, I get that giants are usually not a snake people start with but I really couldn't help it i wanted one so I did my homework and prepared myself, I love this hobby I really hope we can get this ban overturned so we big snake people can go back to what we love and get our big snakes the vet help they need, not everyone is lucky like me and have a exoctic pet vet 15 mins away. I love this forum thanks to everyone that replied to this post and let me know that this was truly a burm, I thought it was but being in the area I live in, people just don't come across these, in ky this is literally my unicorn and thank god it didn't take me forever to find my unicorn. :)

I'm so happy for you mate that you've got what you wanted. Get some pics up as soon as possible of your new girl she looks to be a real stunner :)
