View Full Version : Question about profile display

I often see that members have some type of 'signature', if I can say so, attached to their posts.

For example:
3.4 leopard geckos : 0.1 aft gecko : 1.0 hognose

I gather that the pets listed are those that the member owns, but what about the numbers with decimals? What do they mean? And how can I personalize and apply such 'signature' to my profile?

Also, when I look at threads in which I posted, I see that most members have an avatar picture. I did add a picture in my profile, but it is not displayed as an avatar picture. How can I fix this?

I don't know if the answer to the above was already provided in other threads; if it was, and you don't want to bother explaining again, please point me to the relevant thread.

Many thanks.

The numbers are genders. 1.0 is male and 0.1 is female, so if you had 3 male and 2 female it would be 3.2 BRB, or whatever.

Some people do 0.0.1, which indicates unknown gender.

To edit your avatar, go to your user CP and look under settings and options. That's also where edit signature is.

I have been wondering that also! I just hadn't gotten around to asking. Thanks:)
