Kinks?

It's useless to take a photo because it's unnoticeable visually but some times whenever I'm holding Glethi and he turns 180° I can feel this sorta popping sensation, like when your back gets stiff and you stretch for that satisfying pop. I can't hear it, but I can feel it. I wouldn't be surprised if he was kinked (he came from PetSmart after all) but I'd like to find out what you guys think.

Hard to tell w/o pics. Could be a old rib fracture that didn't heal properly. Has he had any injuries, falls of any kind that you know of? IMO, consider a vet and some xrays.

He doesn't seem to display any bumps and I can't quite feel *bumps*, but I just feel this odd popping. I DID get him from PetSmart (not the best snake source, I know) so he may have had some issues shipping from the mass breeder. There was also the time where he got lost in the car for a week. As in the main console. We attempted to the car sparingly, but I don't know what he did there. He hasn't fell since I got him, but I was just curious if this could potentially serious.

I have felt thisin many snakes actually. I believe it's just muscles releasing like you mentioned. Moat times when you pop your back, it's not the vertebrae, but the muscle fibers and tendons releasing pent up gasses, excess fluids, and toxins. Nothing to be worried about =)
