Do I feed my ball python in her tank, or in a separate container? I've read mixed things about this..
If in a separate container, how long do I wait to take her out in order to put her back into her real tank? Aren't I supposed to leave her alone for a day after she eats?
Getting her this Saturday.. HELP! :(

I've never found any reason to use a feeding container. IF the snake starts to associate the cage opening with dinner time, just use a hook or something to tap it and it will snap out of food mode.

It's a pretty general consensus here to feed in the enclosure. It's less stressful on the snake, feeding outside the enclosure won't stop you from getting bit (in fact you open yourself up to more chances of getting bit), less work on you, and with larger snakes it actually becomes dangerous to feed outside the enclosure.

Go read the other thread. We don't need another one of these.
