So, my BP has accepted 2 meals now and I know he has a few more to go to be a consistent eater, but I like to take him out for an evaluation about once a week to watch weight, inspect scales, as well as get him used to handling without overdoing it. However tonight when I took him out I noticed his eyes looked cloudy. I figured it might just be blue so looked for other signs such as the milky ski d and what not. No other signs were detected so I took a pic of his eyes. In the past, when pictured with a flash, my other snakes really show that blue eyed look....this time...it didn't, and I noticed a slight dent in the eye...

Before I flip out since I am still a newb, I wanted to consult more experienced keepers.

Also, both eyes look the same and the 'dent' is on both eyea in the same spot as well.

Humidity, heat, ambient temps are all good, and I feed f/t. There's nothing in his enclosure to be injured by as it's very simple right now with sanichips, a hide, and a water dish big enough to soak in, and nothing else. (Will upgrade his enclosure when he's full grown)

So...what do you guys think?

Also, if i makes any difference, he is a lesserbee and actually has green eyes.

Looks like a shed is coming. Increase the humidity anyway. The dents should resolve themselves.

As far as i know genetics don't make a difference when it comes to eye dents. The green eyes are a contribution from the pastel.

Lori's right. Increase humidity and the dents should resolve themselves. It usually stems from a lack of humidity so double check your gauge is working correctly and if need be construct a humid hide.
