I was worried about feeding Tyrion f/t mice because the guy had been feeding him live for the last month. But was no problem. :)

Didn't dwaddle he went right in and grab that little sapsucker lol.

I've been looking but not sure about the answer. Tyrion is about 24" long. I fed him a fuzzy mouse. But i'm not really sure how much or how often to feed him. I know adults can eat like once a week if i'm not mistaken. I have read feed about every 4 to 7 days. But for a growing baby not really sure if I should give him 2 or stick with the one fuzzy?
Shoot I really don't know how old he is. Someone on here suggested he may be around 10 months to a year.

rule of thumb is to feed 10-15% of body weight. cheap kitchen scales are available anywhere like walmart.

I agree with reptiledude. I also feed my snakes roughly 10-15% of their body weight per feeding. Younger snakes sometimes get up to 20%. I feed them every 5 days on average until they turn 1, then I feed them every 7 days on average. If they get a large meal they wait a little longer until their next feeding. If they have a smaller meal I'll feed them a little sooner. I tend to mix up my feeding amounts and frequencies but this is a good feeding guideline.

Congrats and beautiful snake. I use a similar feeding schedule as EZ.

Great looking snake and awesome on the feed.

Since y'all are talking about it. I ordered a digital gram scale on Amazon and will get it tomorrow. How often do y'all weigh your snakes?

When I bought my first snake 15 years ago I weighed it daily but that was definitely overkill. Now I dont weigh at all really. I think that most who weigh regularly do it roughly once a month.

I weigh my snakes every 2-4 weeks. I also try to weigh them when they're empty and usually on the day before they get fed.
