I'm hoping someone here can identity this snake. It's been ganging out in my flower beds this spring. I'm not looking to hurt it, just have it relocated if it's venomous.
Tiny picture is tiny! Fortunately that hood is unmistakable, it is an Eastern Hognose. It is harmless.

I agree looks like eastern hognose. If it wasn't hooding we'd definitely need a larger picture though! He won't do you any harm. They just like to bluff.

I was thinking as much. Good to hear from snake enthusiasts though. He's all hooded out because my dogs had him cornered before I took the pic. I'm hoping he remembers I saved his life today and eats some tree rats...

I dont know how you guys can tell that from the picture I can hardly see the thing lol

Yeah, there's almost nothing to see but if you zoom in you can see the head and neck, and the patterning on the hood is a dead giveaway.
