So six of my snakes decided this would be a good week to get rid of their old skin. Five are done and the sixth is looking like she might remove it tonight (she's scratching her face on her cage). But as I'm leaving early in the morning until Monday and I don't want to bother my friend who will check in on the snakes for pictures, I figured I would share what I've got with you guys now.

This.. this started out so pretty and got so... gross.
Seriously though, gorgeous snakes. The first two are incredible and I even love your albino citron, and I'm usually not a big fan of albino stuff... the color fade on it is amazing, tho.
I'd love to see better pics of the GC from a better angle sometime - I love Goldenchilds (Goldenchildren? lol).

Thanks. The skull actually makes an awesome educational tool. It allows me to show how a snake opens their mouth to eat and how they have 6 rows of teeth.
I'll get some better shots of the gc when I get back on Monday. She glows in natural light. She's got a very nice dark gold color in the right light.

Gotcha! Lol. It was a fart thankfully. No piles to clean up before I left for the airport this morning.

You have beautiful snakes. I love that motley citron. Cool skull, too. I recently purchased a real dog skull off craigslist. Makes a great hide or cool piece of decor in the enclosure.

Thanks. I've got 8 retics actually and they can definitely be a handful at times.

Eh, they're not too bad. The biggest girl (last measured at 15ft and 80 lbs) is with a friend being bred so for the time being I don't even have to worry about those.

I just find my snakes that feed on rats have much stinkier poops than the ones that eat mice. Is it worse with rabbits? Obviously bigger but are they as smelly?

I don't really notice a difference. It all stinks. The only thing that is noticeably worse is when I feed pigs for several meals in a row. I stopped doing that because then it smells like rotten pork...

Yeah... it's pretty bad. I won't feed a pig more than once every month. I try to never feed them but if I can't get something else and I've got some on hand I'll use them.

I went in the snake room earlier today to enjoy them just laying there and only on opening my Burmese vivarium, i smelled poop. I didn't even noticed it before, but might be due to the fact that it's a bio active setup. Guess you'll see it immediately when the snake is on paper :p
Very nice collection!! I have some extra work with only one retic... I can imagine having 6 (or more).. .
Question: do your pythons shed like leaving pieces of the old skin everywhere always, or there are sometimes that they shed leaving "a big sock.." haha! mine, always create a mess with the pieces of the old skin.

Sure do!

Some shed in one long piece, some shed in a bunch of little pieces. I keep them all the same so I can't figure out what the difference is.

Forgot to mention that I've only got two snakes that have no dwarf blood in them. I've got 9 retics total and 7 of them have dwarf or SD blood in them (and two are pure SD) so they will stay a manageable size and only three will ever get bigger than a big carpet (GC 50% Jampea, but she's a picky eater so she may not; Sunfire Platinum, she's about 16 ft now and is with a friend who is breeding her with a male; Motley 25% dwarf, she's about 10-11ft now). Furthermore I don't push my snakes at all, I believe that retics should be long and slender and that's how I feed them. If they don't become giants then I'm not complaining either. I don't care how big they get or how many eggs they lay. I want healthy animals.

How big does a 50% Jamp GC usually get? I know that's a really variable question, but I bet you know more about it than I do :).
Heyyyy... didn't you say you'd post some more pics of her?

Probably not much bigger than 12ft since GC is a dwarf morph so she's probably 75% dwarf (50% jamp 25% dwarf).
I did say that but she's been pushing so her nose is swollen right now. I'm waiting for that to go back down before I take more pictures. I'm also leaving on Saturday for a week so she should be good (or back in shed) by the time I get back.
