Unusual popping noise coming from the mid-section of my retic

I've noticed whenever I hold my retic, I can feel and hear a popping noise from coming from his mid-section. The only way I can describe it is kinda like a popping/gurgling noise. Is this normal? He's not about to defecate when this happens because he hasn't ate in a month.

Prob gas moving through intestines...they have insane metabolism. High rate of peristalsis. Mine will often do that when I hold them, noisy intestines.

Yup, probably gas. You can feel the belly gurgles too. If you see a lump near the vent and feel the gurgles, get the snake somewhere that's easy to clean, FAST. You got a present coming. Ask me how I know...

Oh man...yes. retic poo is from the devil, too.

I don't mind it too much as long as:
1) they haven't been sitting on it on the hot side incubating it
2) it's not after I've fed them only pigs for a few months (smells like rotten pork)
3) It hasn't been marinating in their water that they've pushed to the hot side
4) it's not the size of a 2L coke bottle
5) they haven't smeared it on their face

Yes, I've had to clean up all 5...

Yeah back when I couldn't predict my snakes' poops (which apparently the retic just poops whenever she feels like because she pooped on my blankets - first time in ~6 years -.-) my ball would poop on me and it felt kinda like a really mild burning sensation.
