I got this little male last October, but at the time I had planned on getting two BRBs, so I wanted to wait to introduce him until then. Well, I got the second snake I planned on, even though it wasn't a BRB. haha
He was born on August 1, 2014, and came to me at 40 grams and about 2 months old. He's now 71 grams, eating 5-7 gram fuzzy mice every 10 days. He came from a high red pairing, but is starting to turn out more of an orange color.
Humidity hasn't been as big of an issue as I thought it would be, and I've had nothing but perfect sheds from him. He's extremely laid back, he only bit me once, when I unboxed him. Other than that, he's never hissed, struck, or posed at me, although he has given little huffs if he's in shed or occasionally out of shed. He's also very active, exploring and climbing his vine at night, and quite often sleeps out in the open or on top of his vine. During the day, he's in one of his hides and may have his head out of the entrance of one of hides, so not shy at all either.
The day he arrived (he arrived in shed but still had a perfect shed a few days later):

And his size now:

And some other random photos. Some are phone photos and some are photos from my Canon.
Deep in shed, he looks like a ghost of a snake!

Very nice!! Love his pattern, almost like somebody zipped him up wrong (with the spots not aligning :D). I thought about naming my purple Sanji :D but went for Zuko because it sounded better with Xena.

I named him that because of his zig-zagged eyebrow. :) And yeah, I thought so, too, just makes him more interesting.

Beautiful young rainbow, personally I like the oranges more than the high reds (in rainbow boas, lol.) So you've had him all this time and didn't tell us? Now that the secret is out you'll have to update your signature.

I originally wanted to buy a male and female at the same time, but circumstances only allowed me to get one at the time. So I waited until I could get another one before I introduced him. I ended up getting a retic instead. haha So probably going to be my last addition for at least 1-2 years.

I only clicked on this cause I wanted to see if you named him after Sanji from One Piece, given the eyebrow reference you take it you did. But you know, Sanji needs a lady, haha. Beautiful snake though. If you get a female what are you gonna name her?
I have a cat named Zoro, just felt like a sharing that.

I did, actually! haha
I was thinking about getting him a nice female, but at the moment I'm not really up to breeding so he's just going to be a pet.
As far as names, I wouldn't know until I met her!
Thanks for all the compliments everyone, he's a very lovely little guy if I do say so myself. (Definitely no bias here, nuh uh.)

He's about 80 grams last I weighed him, and I decided to take him out to let him crawl around and even gave him a chance in a tree. He didn't seem too big of a fan, though. He just sat there. haha It may be something for him to get used to, or maybe I should let him climb on his own next time.
He's turning a very...interesting color to say the least.
In the shade with his colors dulled....

How he looks in the sun. The green grass does weird things to his colors, this is actually accurate to how he looks in the sun and in the grass. He doesn't look as much like a badly-contrasted photo in my hands in the sun, and looks rather brown in the shade.

Sanji is looking great, love the iridescence in the sunlight.
I was thinking about letting a couple of my DRMB's try out a tree, but given their preference for climbing I'm not sure it's wise, lol. I can just imagine myself standing there trying to figure out how to get a snake down out of a tree after it's climbed out of reach...

He's got some rich colors, even if he's starting to brown out. :) He's still keeping a bit of that red, though. I thought he was going to end up orange there for a bit, too.
He is pretty, I love the smiley pattern on his head(reminds me of a cartoon cat smiling)
My Dante is about half that size so Im guessing around 5-6 mnths old(just a guess).
I cant wait till I can start handling him more. He is very friendly so far.I need to get some pics next week.

Feeding day is always interesting with this guy...This was the result of him missing his mouse and rapidly spinning through the air until he happened to hit the mouse. The poor thing has terrible aim. lol I think holding the mouse still throws him off, as he's hit it before if I was waving it around.

Sanji weighing in at 86 grams now, and he's officially been bumped up from mouse fuzzies to hoppers, still being fed every 10 days. In about 2 months he'll be moved to a biweekly schedule. He's started exploring occasionally during the day again, and has started spreading out in the open again, too.

Once River outgrows her tub, I'll probably put him in there, and it's large enough to house him until he's 4'. These guys appear to grow pretty slowly, so he should be able to stay in that tub until he's 2 years old.

Good progress! At that size, however, you might be able to go *slightly* larger on the meals, or slightly more often. I feed my 85-grammers ever seven days. They channel it all into growth at that age.

I don't think I'd go any larger, the hoppers leave larger bulges on him than rat pups do on my retic, takes 2-3 days for the bulge to dissipate. With how large meals are, and how long it takes the bulge to go away, I think it would be best to stick to the 10 day schedule. They're larger than what I'm comfortable with, but most of my hoppers were on the larger end of things. They're averaging 9-11 grams each. I've already fed off the few 5 and 6 gram mice I had, which is what he's been getting for the past month or two.

Maybe once they become a more reasonable size I'll step back down to every 7 days, he's only been eating every 10 days for 3-4 months. The other 3-4 months I had him he ate every 7 days. I figured BRBs grow at about the same rate as BCI (2'-3' at a year, 3'-4' at 2, etc.) that a similar feeding schedule should be fine. It's really only a 3 day difference.

Thanks! I'll probably see a rather large growth spurt on him with the increased food size, too. So it might not take long for him to become large enough for them. I didn't realize so many of them would be on the bigger end of the size range given on the website. lol

I went and got him brand new bedding the other day, and when I took him out I found him going blue! I also weighed him and he came out at 93 grams, but I don't think that's accurate even though it was 7 days after he ate, as I only weighed him a week ago or so at 86 grams. I don't think he's put on 7 grams in that time. I'll re-weigh him once he sheds, since he won't be eating during this time and should be 100% empty.

Well Sanji officially hit 90 grams awhile ago, and he's due for another weighing once he poos, but he ate 2 days ago, so I doubt the 99 gram weight was accurate. :P I'd say he's closer to 93 grams or so empty.
His growth has picked up exponentially, and he's become markedly bigger in just a couple months, whereas before it would take him a month or two just to put on 3 grams and he didn't look any bigger. Either it's because he's getting bigger mice, or BRBs grow more during their second year like boa constrictors. Either way it's nice to finally be able to see some size getting on him.
He's also become a lot more alert the past few days. He's begun reacting to movement near his head, and has begun following my finger like the other young snakes and my garters do. Before, I could poke his head with not so much as a tongue flick, and he'd ignore my waving finger like it wasn't there. Not sure what was keeping him from being alert before, or what triggered this change but I guess it's a good thing? He's also become a lot more accurate with his striking! There's been no more helicopter impressions if he misses and he hits his target with precision each time now.

Rainbows do indeed start growing more quickly as adolescents, about the time they hit small rats/500 grams or so. They should be pretty accurate though for striking almost from birth...as many of my fingers can attest. ;-)

Yeah, I'm not sure why he missed so much either. :/ He had poor aim, and would miss all the time, especially if I held his prey still. For the past 2-3 months, though, he hasn't missed a single time.

Yeah, Cloud certainly grew most during his second year! He was only about 2.5' at 1 year, but he reached 5.5' by his second year, and reached 6' flat on his 3rd birthday. He's now a few inches shy of 6.5' at 4 years old.

As of his last weighing a few days ago, Sanji weighs 100 grams! With this new growth spurt, he may actually be big enough to bump his prey size when I buy my next food shipment.

Now that he's a year old, I've moved him onto a 14-day schedule, and this next meal will be his first on the new feeding schedule.

While I admire your caution, you can keep them on weekly for longer. He'll channel every scrap of a weekly meal into growth for at least the next six months.
I agree on moving prey sixe up a notch.
Congrats!

I was debating on waiting until he's 1.5 years old, but 1 year seems to be a common universal age to start 2 weeks on for most species. I may keep him on 10 days for another 6 months, though, depending. I'll see how many grams he puts on next month and determine from there. If his growth continues at about the same rate as the past 2-3 months or if the rate increases (if he puts on another 6-10+ grams per month) I'll just keep an eye on his weight and decide from there. If his rate decreases, I'll keep him on 7-10 days a bit longer.
Right now he's doing good on the size he's got now, but he should be able to move up to the largest of the hoppers I have fairly soon (which are currently more than 1.5x his girth), and then by the time he outgrows them I should be ready to buy the next rodent shipment. If not, I may buy some from the pet store to hold him over.

Well today was going to be his feeding day...but I think he's going into shed. :D
I'll give him another meal, maybe two, before I weigh him again, since he'll be a week or more late on his meal.

His colors don't really show up well in the photos, but you can see a bit of the back of his head, where his scales are separating. That's usually the best way to tell he's shedding outside of the blue phase.

Now he's a cute little angry blue ball of grumpiness. :D He went deep into blue today (this video is from the other night), and when I checked on him he was giving me little sneezy-huffs of discontentment. He's all huff and no bark, though. Just don't want to stress him out too much so I didn't bother him for long, but just listen to that! It's not intimidating at all. haha

So despite being a week late due to shedding, he now weighs 108 grams. :)
I think what I will do is fluctuate his feedings, between every 7 and 14 days. Despite being late on feeding, he still gained weight nicely, but I'd like to see him pick up growth a bit at this point and it's stayed the same. So I'll feed small meals every other feeding, and feed bigger meals every time, with 7 days for the small meals and 14 for the bigger ones.
I'll probably do this until he's 2, instead of 1.5, unless I feel I should do something differently again.
No pics due to weather, but I'm hoping it will be a warm weekend. :)

Sanji came out to 2'4.5" in the photo I used with the best perspective, so he's a little shorter than I thought but not by much. I'll be increasing his food size slightly by feeding him the largest hoppers, but keeping him around 7-10 days. I don't think he's quite ready to move up to small mice yet, they're a lot bigger than hoppers and the biggest hoppers from my bag leave a large bump, the smallest leave a small bump.

Sanji's last weigh-in showed him to be 128 grams! He recently ate, so I'll be giving him a little while longer to try to ensure he's empty before I weigh him. He also shed a few days ago, at the same time as River.
Here are some recent photos from the other day, when it reached almost 80F. It's hard to get good lighting in my trailer for some reason, the only time light shines in the windows enough for me to make use of is one certain window I don't really have access to. Well, I do, but the sunlight comes in above the top of the couch. :/ So I decided while it was warm, take advantage of the outdoors. Well...that didn't work so well either, I could not see the screen on my phone whatsoever, I couldn't even see outlines, it was pure black. Between that and the killer sun, I didn't spend much time outside. I had to basically aim and hope I got a good photo. I did manage to get a few.

Yeah, Sanji's hitting a growth spurt and is starting to look less gangly. I'm not feeding him any more food than I have been for the past 4-6 months (idr exactly when I started him on hoppers), and I'm still feeding him every 7-10 days. I don't stick strictly to my schedules, though, either.
Once I get my other 6' enclosure here (I have to get it cleaned out first), and River puts on another foot or so, I'll be putting him in one of the PVC enclosures. Which means I just have to get Cloud a 6' PVC enclosure, and that leaves only Nymeria and Guin to get permanent homes! :D
That said, my space heater doesn't add as much as I expected to our electric bills, so I may just keep him in his wooden one. With the space heater set to 80F I'm able to maintain a 90F hot spot without covering his doors. And that's the only reason I wanted to change enclosures in the first place.
So I have 2-3 more enclosures to get and everyone is set, and I'll be ordering them in the spring. :) Gonna invest in a Herpstat 4 once everyone is set up, and keep my VE-100's and Hydrofarms as back ups.

He's on the list to be weighed once he digests his meal as well. Actually, I think it's safe to say just about everybody's due to be weighed.
bigsnakegirl785
12-24-15, 10:41 PM
At his last weigh-in he weighed 156 grams, and is currently deep in shed. I expect him to be 10-20 grams lighter once he comes out of shed since I don't offer food and he usually loses 8-10 grams after he defecates, but he should be back up around there again pretty quickly.
He's still eating hoppers, but I'll be ordering some adult mice in the next few weeks, after he eats another meal or two. There's a big jump from hopper mice to adult mice, because Big Cheese doesn't have an intermediate size and there's a wider range of weights for adult mice vs. hoppers. So I want to be sure he can handle the median range with ease, and seems about ready.
My ball python - er, I mean my Brazilian rainbow boa. haha

I may do that, thanks for the suggestion. I may go ahead and put him back on a bi-weekly schedule once he's on strictly adult mice as well. They've got some fat on them, and he'll probably be 18-19 months old by then, so he'll have reached the 1.5 year old mark.
He's been so gangly most of his life, it's so weird seeing him finally start to fill in. lol Haven't really increased his food intake, either. I only had him on bi-weekly for a short amount of time, he's mostly been fed on 7-10 day schedule, which is what he's on now. I guess he's starting to grow up. :P

Agreed! I think my favorite thing about them, aside from their iridescence and colors, is just how soft and smooth their scales are. They feel so different from all my other snakes, smooth like glass. Babies have this weird almost felt-like feel. Whenever they rub their scales together you can feel the whole snake vibrate, idk how to explain it well but it's very odd.
Sanji shed last week and I gave him a hopper, he weighed in at 138 grams after his shed, so he got lighter, as I expected. It's strange how much lighter snakes get after they shed, and I know he was empty at the beginning of his shed. He definitely didn't defecate recently, either, it's just something I notice with all my snakes, and since I don't feed in shed nobody defecates while shedding. A meal or two should bring him back up to where he was.
I'm about to use the last of my mouse pinks as well, so I think I'll stop by the pet store and pick up some adult mice and some pinks to hold Demigod and Sanji over. I want to buy all the rodents I need together, and I still have another 3-4 weeks' worth of small rats for River to truck through. Everybody else has enough food for several months.

Sphagnum moss. I tried EcoEarth the first month or two I had him, but all it did was mold so I switched to moss. Unfortunately, heat tape doesn't heat the bedding enough to allow the moisture to escape before it becomes a mold carpet. The moss is light and airy enough it dries out at room temp.
When he's moved into his T12, he'll get EcoEarth as he'll be heated with an RHP rather than heat tape. He's still a tiny guy yet, though, so it might be a long time before he's ready to be moved. He'll get River's T12 when she gets moved to her 6'x2'.
He's beautiful! Nice job!

No worries! Nymeria is probably going to be on hoppers for awhile yet. I'll be trying her on adult mice as well, but regardless of if she's ready or not I'm ordering hoppers as well as adult mice, so I can easily alternate. The newcomers will also probably be eating hoppers as well, so I'll be ordering a couple packs of hopper mice, and one pack of fuzzies just in case. They'll be around 8-9 months by then, though, so I'd assume they'll be ready for hoppers, that's around the age I bumped Sanji.
He is gorgeous! I wish my girl would hold still long enough for more photos like you have. She is always on the move when I bring her out.
He loves to ball up, and flash really helps. Flash is invaluable when it comes to freezing motion, but I try to give lots of space between me and the snakes when I use flash so it doesn't blind them. I just open my camera's lens to the widest setting, so I can offer more space to the snakes.
But Sanji has always been a slow, deliberate mover, even when I first got him from Dave. The late Guin was a different story. haha She'd take an hour to stop staring me down, but once she decided I wasn't trying to eat her she'd speed off doing her own thing. We'll see how the new guys act when they arrive (hopefully next month if it warms up reliably by then).

Sanji is in shed again, so he'll be missing this week's feeding, and may be late next week.
Here he is, sulking in his moss. He prefers his moss over his water dish, I've only seen him in his water dish twice and those were both after a meal. (The moss is stuck to the bottom of his water dish in case you're wondering, he likes to crawl under it.)
http://i1157.photobucket.com/albums/p600/dtr_2009_/My%20Snakes/Sanji/DSC_0255_zps6olgh8yd.jpg (http://s1157.photobucket.com/user/dtr_2009_/media/My%20Snakes/Sanji/DSC_0255_zps6olgh8yd.jpg.html)
I took him out to weigh him and to look through his bedding for poo and see whether or not his moss needed dampened. I didn't leave him in there, because my meddling would probably have put him on edge, and I want to get a before and after weight for his shed. Right now he's 170 grams, 9 days after his last meal.

He's coming on nicely bsg. When we move house and I have my man cave, so long as it's a separate out building Mrs danny has said I can get more snakes and a BRB is right up there on the list.
I'm thinking of a collection of various boa localities but may have to pollute it with a couple of pythons and other misc snakes.

Thanks! These guys are such slow growers, similar to boa constrictors, but their thinness makes them seem so much smaller, and thus makes it seem it's taking even longer. haha He's a good foot longer than my sunglow boa, but their girths are fairly comparable, with the sunglow having a slightly bigger girth.
I think my house is going to be filled with rainbow boas and boa constrictors at this point. lol With the 2 BRBs coming in, I'll have 3, and I plan on getting a snow boa this year or next year, so my BRB and boa constrictor numbers are going to be neck and neck.
They're a great species, so I definitely advise you to get a few (or more). ;)

He's been officially moved up to adult mice! I didn't get any photos of him in action since I wanted to get everyone fed, but here's a post feed photo. :)

I'll have to try to get a photo of the bulge next time, but I honestly think he's big enough that I shouldn't have to stagger hopper mice in between feedings, but I'm also feeding off the smallest adult mice first to get them out of the way. The one I fed him this time was small enough I may try a bigger one next time.
He's awesome, very jealous!

Well, I ended up feeding him one of the larger adult mice, and it seems that those are a bit large. So, for now, I think I'll stagger him out with some hoppers after all.
The bulge doesn't stand out from his body, but I saw similar bulges when I fed jumbo-sized rats to my BCI when he should have still been on mediums. It's also more noticeable in person, but it's hard to find good angles and still have the snake look positioned right in the photo. lol

And then I moved his hide out of the way.

That whole top coil is his bulge, I assume he's being weird like this because it wasn't comfortable to lay on top of it. Then again, BRBs are just weird in general.

Yeah I figured he was too small, which is why it took me so long to move him up, and looks like he's still too small for all but the smallest of the adult mice. lol If the bulge is gone tomorrow, I'll give him 2 weeks since feeding day and offer a hopper, if it's still there, I'll give him an extra week and offer a hopper.
He's too big for hoppers, but too small for adult mice. It's a conundrum. lol Hopefully he'll grow quickly into them now that he's getting one every other feeding.

I think I'll stick to one at a time now that he's getting an adult mouse every other feeding, I was doing that for a short while when all I had were hoppers.
There was terrible lighting today because I fell asleep as soon as I got home, so the evening sunlight wasn't good for picture taking, but I managed to get Nymeria and Sanji out before the camera battery died. I think we really need to get a back up battery or two.

He's growing pretty well lately, so I think he can handle it every other time, even if he can't do it every feeding. He's still gangly, no matter how much food he eats he just stays a gangly teenager. lol He's gotten more girth lately, but the new girl Homura has more girth, proportionately, than he does. I'd say his girth is equal to or a little bit more than Morzan's, proportionate to his body. Leaning towards slightly more girth.
He weighed in at 186 grams today!
He's starting to actually look his size lately. :P

But he's also spilling out the sides. :P The other hides are larger than this one, and he still fits, but I might go ahead and take the big red hide out of Morzan's tub, and put this one in his. After deeply sanitizing of course.

Well he shed the other day and was looking especially iridescent! And his skin was being extra vibrate-y. Sanji has officially been moved onto just adult mice, with no more hoppers. I've been thinking of trying him on a jumbo mouse to see if he's ready for me to move him to rats, but his small girth has me really thinking about not doing that quite yet. I will probably need to bump Nymeria to rats soon, so I'll just wait until I get her rats in and compare them to his girth.
He weighed in at 215 grams a few days ago. This is with a mouse in his belly, but that still means he's over the 200 gram mark! He's looking bigger by the day it seems.

He took a poop last night and weighed 205 grams. :) I'm definitely waiting on upping his prey size, I figure it's best to wait until Nymeria is big enough for rats and comparing than trying him on a prey size I'm almost certain is too big right now. Him and Nymeria are only grams away from each other's weight but she's much girthier despite him being ~7" longer than her, so I'm more comfortable trying to up her prey size before him. Plus, he's much older than her and has a slightly slower metabolism so it's best not to pump him full of food.

Yes, they do! I'm quite conservative with my snakes, moreso than most, after overfeeding Cloud due to ignorance I've been a lot more careful how I feed my snakes. My main worry is knowing whether or not to get him on rats yet....but I figured there's no need to do that if Nymeria is getting rats soon. lol She took a jumbo mouse quite well, and although the bulge was bigger than I'd usually like to see, it wasn't huge by any means. I'll be staggering her with adult mice and jumbos like before with Sanji, and once she's on jumbos only I'll order some weaned rats. They're slightly bigger in overall size, but the closest equivalent so they should last her awhile and I'll have them on hand for when Sanji is ready.
If he keeps growing like this, he may actually be big enough to go into his T12 by fall!

I've also switched his and Morzan's tubs around since Morzan doesn't need all that extra space and Sanji definitely does. Another foot and he should be big enough for his own 4'x2', he just looks so tiny and noodly in one right now.
From an hour or two after eating, the bulge was small enough I'm comfortable going ahead and moving him up.

Sanji is slowly creeping up in weight. He took his second jumbo mouse yesterday after a recent shed, and weighed in at 233 grams the day before. It won't be long before he's on rats. I'm guessing probably once he reaches/exceeds 300 grams, as Nymeria is much girthier than he is at 285 grams, and I feel a weaned rat is still a tad too large for her.

Sanji looks good.
I am wondering about the substrate you are using. It looks like cedar or cypress. Why did you switch from the other stuff you were using. I think it was a moss of some kind. Is the moss suggested for the younger ones only?
Thanks
It's a mixture of cypress mulch and EcoEarth. Once I'm through with the bag I have, I plan on switching the cypress out for ReptiChip or something like that, because of the environmental impacts of using cypress. But it was a temporary thing because at the time I didn't have too much of a choice.
I kept Sanji on just sphagnum moss without any problems for like 1-1.5 years, but when I got Morzan and Homura I had nothing but problems with mold no matter what I did. Spraying, soaking, keeping it dry, didn't matter. I doubled the air holes and STILL could not get the mold to go away. Within a couple days everything would be carpeted in mold, and once Homura's tub was so bad I couldn't see anything through the cloud of spores. I didn't want to dehydrate them so I opted getting cypress in-town vs waiting a week with no humidity to order something online.
So I completely ditched the sphagnum moss and switched Homura and Morzan to cypress mulch, but by itself it wasn't maintaining humidity whatsoever so I mixed EcoEarth in. I wasn't using EcoEarth by itself because I also had problems with mold using EcoEarth in my belly heat set ups when I first got Sanji. So far the mixture been working out quite well.
I switched Sanji even though I wasn't having problems with him because it would be cheaper to give him the mix, too, rather than buying the moss. It takes two packs of moss to cover his tub, at $7 per pack, when I can spend $10 (used to be $7) on a 3-pack of EcoEarth and whatever it costs for the rest of the mixture and have enough bedding to do bedding changes in his tub every week for an entire year. Which, I don't need to change the bedding weekly anymore and I use the EcoEarth for most everyone else as well.
At $7 per pack, with the amount of moss it would take to cover his 4'x2' as an adult, I'd be spending $40-50 weekly doing bedding changes on sphagnum moss, when I could spend maybe $20 a couple times a year using EcoEarth, so he'd be taken off the moss regardless.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write that up. I'm trying to figure out what to use for substrate.

Coco coir (essentially what ecoearth is) mixed with orchid bark is what I'd use. Holds moisture without being permanently damp to touch.

Sanji is currently in shed, I plan on getting details once he sheds. He'll probably be a little lighter since he hasn't eaten in a month between biweekly feedings and going into shed, but he'll still be close.

He still looks nice even when in shed. Can't wait to see post shed pics.

Here he actually looks his size - right around 3.5' according to SerpWidgets.

BRBs have such smooth scales.

I weighed him after a shed and a poop, and he came in at 314 grams. :)
They're awesome looking for sure. Definitely live up to their name.

Well apparently the weaned rats I got this time were bigger than the last batch...I thought I had a small rat when I took Sanji's rat out. It didn't look too bad sizewise but I knew it was a tad on the larger size when he wrapped it. I'll just give him a little extra time before his next meal and try to grab a smaller rat.
I opened his tub the next day and he was not happy about it. He struck at the lid as I lifted it and sat in this defense posture the entire time. I didn't bug him for long and didn't touch him, though, just wanted at least a few new pics.

I keep forgetting to record weights, so I'll have to re-weigh him when he poops, but Sanji is still clearly growing. He should be ready for his own 4'x2' by end of the year I'm thinking. He's still too small for me to put in there yet, just because he takes up so little space due to his small girth, but he's closing in on 4' now. I think his last length measurement was 3'8" several months ago.

These ones are from today, he also ate yesterday, and he may be ready for smalls by the time he turns 3. My rainbows move up in prey size a lot slower, though, because of their thinner girth. But, as you can see, the weaned rats make only a small bulge (and mostly in height), so once small rats barely leave a bulge I'll move him up.

The new scale says he's 13.9 ounces, which is 394 grams. He's currently beginning a shed cycle, but these photos are from about a week ago. He's a derp. haha
