Hi everyone , for the last few weeks my snake has been moving around loads and trying to escape. I read that in spring time corns look for a mate , is this true? And how do they know its time to breed?
I also dont have any other snakes in my house , so he cant be smelling another one.

The rising temperatures trigger "mating season" as you say. I've heard of breeders simulating winter and rising spring temperatures at different times of the year in order to align their breedinh projects with expos(often primary sales method), but it's usually easier to follow the natural seasons since the temperatures will rise and fall on their own naturally.
Your corn could be trying to get out to seek a mate(males do this; if you're unsure of the gender then this might not be the case) but he could also just be more active because of the higher temperatures accelerating his metabolism.

ok thanks for reply , a question a bit off topic but in april my road is having a power outage for 9 hours. Will my snake be fine without a heat mat and room heating (radiator) for 9 hours , possibly less ?

In April any place should stay warm enough to keep him well for a few hours, especially since he's a corn snake. If the temperature in your home drops to 20C/68F or below, you can put a sweater or blanket on yourself and let him sit between you and the sweater/blanket to share your body heat. Don't do this unless the temperature does drop low, though, because your body can produce a lot of heat!
If you're expecting temperatures to be quite low in your region even in April, you can turn the room heat up higher than usual a couple hours before the planned outage so that it takes longer to cool down.

Ok thanks for help :) I have an update of the pooping situation as well , i think his getting better cause this time he didn't poo for 3 days ! Today his poo wasn't just urinates either , it had brown in it ! Since i haven't fed him in 2 weeks , im hoping the brown in the bad mouse or the spare mouse that was causing him to poop so often. In a way flushing his system out , ill keep you updated :)

You can go ahead and start feeding him on a regular schedule again. He's probably hungry!

Says they lay eggs in June so I'd imagine that's around when things die down.
