You're so sweet, thank you. He is a BCC which explains why his tail is still so colorful. :)

What size are your jumbo rats? o.o They must be tiny for a snake that size to get down.
Very lovely BCC! Nicely muscled, and a good size for his age. :)

Well, when I order them they are considered as "jumbos". Average one weighs about 350g (weighed frozen) about 8 inches from nose to bum. Decent sized rats. Red gets them down perfectly fine, leaves a little bump in his mid section, they are the proper size for him.
And thank you very much for the comment on him :)
Bigsnakegirl, keep in mind every feeder company lists their sizes different. A jumbo from rodent pro is different than jumbo at my local pet shop.

Cool looking RTB! Seems as if he is in good hands that have all his needs in order. Congrats. He also appears very healthy.

Yeah that sounds about right then, that's about as large as rats come. He must have a lot more girth than my BCI then, he's 6' and still taking 175-190 gram large-medium rats if he eats rats. At 5' he had just moved onto medium rats, and he could barely get jumbos down. He may be able to take a bit larger now that he's grown a bit more, though. Right now he's eating mainly 4-8 oz rabbits, but I'm ordering him some rats in the next shipment.
No problem! BCC are gorgeous, and I hope to get ahold of one at some point. :)
