I recently purchased an albino ball python and was wondering if I should 100% avoid the sun with her or if a few minutes of less intense sun (evening hours) would hurt? I'm only using an under tank heater for her enclosure at the moment, might use a ceramic heat emitter if necessary for additional heat.

It shouldn't be an issue.

Why do you need to take the snake outside?

I'm not him but I've seen people take snakes outside to take pics in the natural light.

You hit it on the head. I was wanting to take pictures of her in natural light but I also don't want her to become...sunburned if that's possible haha.

Ive never heard of a snake getting a sunburn. But I suppose if its possible albinos would be the most susceptible to it. Really doubt it would be an issue though.

A snake's skin is not exposed like a humans, the scales even though lighter colored are blocking the sun. Scaleless snake i Imagen can get sunburned though.
