How can I get the site to stop updating me on threads? I come here every day I don't need reminded.

Omg yes! I hate that and it junks up my inbox, especially because they all show up at the same after midnight!

Click User CP next to the home button and on the left side under Settings & Options click "Edit options" and then there should be an option for how often you get emails, its under Messaging & Notifications.
