That's not too bad. Was this her first time breeding?

Yes indeed.....

Not bad at all. It's not uncommon for them to have a large number of slugs in their first breeding.

Why so many slug eggs in her first breeding i think she is old enough to breed ,or in her ovulation not warm enough in her cage ??

I've never saw python eggs before. Are they always different Sizes, or are those the "slugs"?

In comparison to a average size chicken egg how big are those?

It seems to just be a "new mom" thing. It's been documented quite a bit in Burmese and Reticulated pythons.

That is fascinating. Colubrids do not seem to have the same issue. Last year I bred 4 virgin, female Honduran milksnakes that laid 1 "dud" out of almost 30 eggs.

Heineken007- Congrats!!! Please post some pics of the hatchlings when they come!!

It is possible that it's a result of people breeding the animals at too young of an age before they're ready, unfortunately it can be hard to tell sometimes as the animals can grow very quickly.
