I'm going to get a Royal Python at some point once I've saved for it (Getting the baby set up on the 17th Then to save £120 for the actual snake.) :) I do have a Morph Preferance (But, who doesn't?) But, could never afford any xD (Banana, Super Cinnamon, Super Black Pasta
, and "Panda Pied") So, will be a wild/common/classic colour.

Any general tips for me, please?

I've had snakes before (Corn snake) and my dad owned a Burmese Python and Carpet Python before I was born, so I have him to help if needs be.
I'll be getting from a baby as I did with my prior snake, mostly doing this so I can slowly ajust to his adult size (Seems Royals are much bigger than corns)

Mostly wanting advice with Handling a big snake, but all advice is greatly welcomed! Thank you ^-^

Dont wave your hand erratically around the snakes head and keep the snakes head away from yours.

You said you had a corn before. How big did that one get? I dont think Royals are all that much bigger (maybe heavier?). I honestly dont know so I'm kinda asking as well. Anyways, I imagine you'll have no issue, especially getting it as a baby, it'll stay small definitely long enough for you to get comfortable handling it.

Also, how old are you?

Mine died as a baby. Autopsy done and they couldn't find the cause of death. His environment was perfect, he was fed on Pinky Mice still, so very small. He had only had 1 shed after I got him. I have handled Adult Corn Snakes before at my old school (They had loads in the science lab), they had a Royal too, but that was a baby (We called him slug because he looked like a Giant Slug) which I had no trouble handling.

I'm 16, soon to be 17. (Yes, I have a job :) But, need to pay for my other animals too, reasons I need to save for the Snake.)
