That was fascinating to watch, thanks for posting this. Much more interesting than I thought it was going to be lol. Honestly, it makes me feel a little better about keeping snakes in enclosures (granted not all want to be in one spot all day, but still). Also for hiking. I always assumed rattlers were a little more on the move than what this shows.

Also that seems to be a mamma and her babies, correct? Do they generally hang out in group dens or do babies not move out right away? (I think alligators are on their own from day one(again I might be wrong:P)

Zelg. It says at the bottom that it was a mother and babies, and points out different things she did to keep them together.

Also, gators actually do take care of hatchlings. Starting by carrying them from the nest to the water, then patrolinf the area they are in to listen for their distress calls.

Gators are awesome!
