I fed Marshall today, 9 days after he regurgitated. I've been leaving him alone and checking his temps as often as possible. They've been great, except one day I caught it go up to 94f. That's not a major problem I suppose, but a little too hot for comfort. Anyways, I gave him a pinkie and after about 15 minutes he took it. Yay!

Congrats! I'm going to be a nervous wreak when Eve regurgitates for the first time (hoping it won't happen). Good Luck!

Thanks! I'm surprised I wasn't crying lol. The first time he refused a meal I cried.....

Good luck on the feeding M. Why did your temps spike to 94? Do you have a thermostat controlling your heat source?

I hear you! When I first brought home Eve it took me 3 tries to get her to eat, I was a nervous wreck :p lol

Thank you. It's controlled by a rheostat so depending on weather and house temp it can fluctuate a bit.i honestly prefer this, it's more similar to what they would experience in the wild.

Don't forget to toss in some wild predators to then.

As for temps, I keep my hot spots at about 92 - 96.

I'm just saying it's more natural than keeping it at a constant 90f for example.

And I'm just saying everything we do is unnatural. All of it. My personal opinion it just feels odd picking and choosing what part of "nature" we give our creatures.

Anyway, just my opinion, I overall don't care what people do as long as the animals are well cared for.
