Hello everyone.
Ok I am having a hard time deciding which one of these to get.. I've narrowed it down to
B.emilia
B.Smithi
B.Vagans
GBB

Im wondering pros and cons to each, handling, enclosure, etc.
I wouldnt be handling too often, once a month maybe..

I've done quite a bit of research but just wondering any personal faves or experiences?

Thanks In Advance

I would go with either the GBB or B emilia. GBB makes a great display T and will make some crazy webbing if you give it some sticks or ornaments to anchor the web to. But if you want something easy to handle, can't go wrong with B emilia. Or you could get them both! They're very low maintenance and neither one is particularly expensive.

I was thinking B. Smithi to start then get myself a GBB.. :)
All my research so far is telling me to go with those two. but Im more worried about the kicking hairs than any sort of bite :P

I love cobalt blues, but I hear theyre quite the aggressive specimen haha
I will stick with something a little more tame to start :P

true. but my bf is seriouslt afraid of spiders. If i walk up to a pider tank at the store he yells no at me LOL
He said Icould get one when we move, ( so I have have a separate room where he doesnt have to see it all the time)
So maybe a less aggressive one to start LOL
He will warm up to them or at least not mind me having them. just gotta have patience :P

lol i had to do something similar with my mom. i got my leo and once she warmed up to having reptiles in the house, i was able to get snakes. she still doesnt like snakes but she is more comfortable with them now.

If your not worried to much about the aggressive side of things OBTs are a simply stunning spider. And you may want to check out P. Metallicas which IMO are one of the most beautiful spiders to be found
