Ok so I went to feed my new baby for the first time today and nope wasn't even interested in the mouse.

Is this just because she's in a new home and hasn't settled yet? What should I do? Wait and try again in a few days?

I'd space it out as if I was feeding it on a feeding schedule. Say if you are going to be feeding every 5 days, I'd wait until 5 days have passed. I'm not claiming to be right, this is just my logic

That's about right. It may take a few weeks before they are settled in enough to eat. Making sure there are plenty of hiding places can help, as does covering the cage with a towel, but mostly just leave them alone.

Yup she has lots of hiding places and her temps are 84 on the hot and 75 on cool.

She did take the nose of the mouse into her mouth like she was going to take it then just backed away and went nope, after that I couldn't even get her to look at it.

Her next feeding day is Tuesday, should I wait till then and try?

I'd wait until tuesday. Maybe just drop it in and leave it overnight and make sure it's in a dark room

So tonight just before bed put the mouse in her viv and just leave it over night?

What if she doesn't eat the mouse can I re-freeze and use it again or do I throw that mouse away and start over Tuesday?

I'd wait the 5 days. Yeah, if he doesn't eat it, I'd throw it away. This is where another snake comes in handy (and this is how you justify getting another snake). :D I'll be picking up a rat snake or bull snake in the future for the benefit of having a garbage disposal that'll eat food items that are refused by my other snakes.

I don't reuse the unwanted mice, I feel they are 'less fresh', but that's just me. Did you use tongs and moved the mouse around a little? I do that to get some attention from my snakes.

I think what luthen meant is if one refuses the meal take it right to the next. Not feeding someone else the next day. Thats what I do especially this time of year I always a food piece for all but 1 snake soe the one snake I didnt buy food for spesifically gets everybodys leftovers ( Generally Sarlacc My male Bredli as hes never refused a meal hence his name). If no leftovers i get a rat for him the next day.

Ok so I've concluded:
1. Wait till Tuesday and try again, if she doesn't take the mouse then
2. Leave the mouse in over night with the room dark
3. No touching till she is eating and comfortable

Got it! Thanks guys!! New mommies always make big deals out of things. Lol
