View Full Version : Reptile safe flea treatment
OK here's the deal. We just moved into a new house. And it has fleas. Not bad, but about once or twice a day we get a flea on us. I would like to remedy this myself to assure it's safe for the snakes. Anyone been through this and know of a way to kill off the fleas without harming the snakes, and preferably not having to relocate a collection of over twenty herps?

Idk i never used any flea venom near my reptiles, i do know you should add cut up flea collar bits to your vacuum cleaner. And if you want to catch the adults, you can put down a deep plate with water on it, pour some oil over the water, then put a small tealight in the middle. If you do that the adults will jump towards the light and get stuck in the oil.. Good way to check if there are still fleas in a room after treatment.
Very cool. Thank you I'll try that.
