So I was just wondering what do all you good people on here use to clean your vivs, tubs or whatever else you keep your reptiles in ?

Mr Muscle spray glass cleaner for the glass doors

non scented Dettol spray for the inside of the viv's ,with the snakes removed for a couple of hours (room windows open and viv doors off)

i only give my viv's a good clean once a year at most,i'm not a fan of keeping reptiles in too sterile environments

i use newspaper substrate and just replace it where needed

Water and vinegar spray. It's one part vinegar to 10 parts water. Cleans really well on all surfaces.

I use chlorhexidine gluconate 2.0% for regular cleaning and F10scxd for complete serilization about once every other month. I'm going to buy some of the F10sc that mikoh mentioned. The difference is that the f10scxd has a detergent in it. All are animal safe. The chlorihexidine is also good for wound treatment.

Chlorine-based cleaning liquid (specially for pets) dilluted in water (less than 5%) once a month. After cleaning I apply clean water to wash of residual liquid, and dry with paper towels. Plastic plants and astroturf are washed with the same solution

I usually use soap and warm water weekly. Twice a year I use 10% bleach from a brand new bottle (it loses its effectiveness over time after opened even though it still stinks as bad) and allow it to sit for 30 minutes.

Same here, great stuff. Or else I use isopropyl alcohol.

I use chlorox green works, you can get it just about anywhere. It's 99% plant derived with no bleach. After I clean the tank with it I do a triple rinse with tap water and wipe out between each rinse so there isn't any residue left behind. I also stick my head in there once it's all done to see if I can smell the product. If I can I do another rinse. It really doesn't take as long as it sounds. Since I have under tank heaters I unplug it for awhile to let it cool off and use a spray bottle for the cleaning product and another for the water so the sticky heat pad won't come into contact with water.

Thanks for the input folks I know this may sound weird but we use brown Listerine well watered down. I'd heard of other people using it a few years ago, so we decided to try it and have been using it ever since.
