Yes very deep red my phone just can't pick up the colour well :(

GTP are good looking snakes,it's a pity all the really unusual coloured ones are still up in the high thousands,i used to go on a GTP breeder from America's website...


but i can't rember the name of it,he had some of the most unusual coloured GTP's ive ever seen,a few near black ones if i remember correctly


i'll try and find it for you Dave,it was an impressive place

i was sure it was something along the lines of albinochondro dot com,but that takes me to some Chinese site :hmm:

Hey Dave other than the color of the eyes how noticeable is it when a gtp is going to shed? I'm new to these guys and can't really tell unlike when my carpet and brb are about to. Do their scales change color a little or no?

I agree the prices on these must be really high. I love the blues but would be scared to ask a price on them.

theres one for sale from your first link with just a little bit of blue striping and its prices at $8950. so I can only imagine what they would want for a solid blue!!

We really have never had them in the shop long enough to see the colour change to be honest, but I belive that some of the locales can take longer than others. And yes mate they're scales will change colour

Another way to tell if a shed is oncoming is head swelling. It is very hard to tell in yellow neonates but with red/maroon you usually can see it a day or two before the shed comes.

...I wont be parting with my blue girl either. Ha.

Ok Ill just have to keep my eyes open, I'm sure ill eventually be able to tell when his head is swollen but as of now I have no idea what it looks like since he is my first gtp.
