Very nice coastal King. I would get that sand out of the tank ASAP! The sand will stick to the snakes prey items and then over time become impacted in the snakes intestines. Continued feedings in this setup will be a death sentence for your snake. I would switch to cypress mulch, aspen shavings/chips or set up a bio active tank. Not trying to rain on your parade! I just want to see more pics in the future of a happy, healthy snake! Thanks for posting pics!!!

Beautiful snake and very good advice from Primal. I use aspen sani chips that kind of gives the best of both worlds. Looks kind of like course sand and very easy to clean.

Beautiful snake

I agree on the sand. Even if you don't feed inside the enclosure, it can get under his ventral scales, in his nostrils..etc and end up irritating him.
