Hey so I fed my snake yesterday, my mom wanted a photo of the mouse because she was worried it was too big -__-, and a few hours after she ate I noticed something in the photo that i thought might be a mite ? Can someone tell me if it is and if it is what should I do, just keep and eye on my snake? Or...

This info couldn't hurt... if I saw that in my snakes enclosure i'd probably proactively treat, just to be safe.

Note a mite. Possibly a louse.

I was just reading that before I saw your post haha, it was a great post, gotta try something out ..BTW it wasn't in the enclosure, I have the mouse on a paper plate and that possible mite was on the plate. I tried to inspect the photo and looked on the mouse but couldn't see anything.

What you have there isn't a mite. If you're wondering you can take a look around the eyes and nostrils. They can congregate and be a little more visible there. They look like a very tiny dots. Is you're snaking hanging around or in the water dish? You could also check that for them.

Mites are literally small little dots in appearance. Looks like maybe a young louse? Looks a little too elongated for a flea...

I threw the plate away, I didnt see that thing until hours later cus I was looking at the photo, so I cant really examine it :/ my snake has been in her hide ever since she ate. As always.

Yeah I noticed the body was a little longer that the photos I googled. Could the louse be harmful..if the mouse carried them?

No. Not a snake mite, probably a louse. Not something that could be harmful.
