Heeeeyyyy, I've been postin' around and guess I should probably introduce myself to all you new folks and, for all the oldies, give ya an update on how I've been.

I am formerly known as Sapphyr(lost the email and pass for the account, delete if you want).

So, not really much to say about myself. I sing, I draw... I love exotics.

These days I'm 23 years old, security guard, and engaged. Have my own place a little out in the country. Sadly do not have my old collection as I ended up moving 3 times in about a year and a half, and it wasn't fair to my snakes to be stressed like that. Ryu passed, sadly. I loved the lil' bugger, he was awesome. :( This time is a lot more permanent, fortunately. I'd like to move to a farm one day... but that is a far ways away off.

I'm an aspiring zoo veterinarian, hoping to maybe start college in the next few years(I know, the sooner the better but I'm really nervous).

Currently trying to rebuild my collection, so pardon it being small. :) I probably won't ever have 10 or 15 reptiles, but I love the couple I have right now, and will love the couple I have on the way.

As far as my scaley friends go, I have Bast the Red Sumatran Blood Python, and a currently unnamed Central American Wood Turtle(my fiance did not like the name I picked). I have a Possible Super Coral Sunglow(50% Het Moonglow) Redtail Boa hopefully coming in Tuesday(weather permitting), female, and a Caiman Lizard coming in some time next month, I hope, if weather permits.

As far as furred and feathered, we have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 6 large parrots(looking to adopt one more), 2 little parrots, and a goose.

The turtle we took in. He's a voracious eater. Loves to spend time in the water.

The redtail boa I'm hoping to ship out soon.

The Caiman Lizard I'm hoping can ship out next month if weather allows.

This is Quincy, a 15 year old Greenwing Macaw. He's secretly my fav, lol. He was a rescue. His prior owner of 12 years did not know much about parrots and failed to ever educate himself, so Quincy was exposed to chemicals for several years, fed walmart brand seed, and only had one toy the whole time... We're very thankful, and honestly shocked, he had a normal health panel. He's my baby and I love him, even though he gets a little hormonal at times. He's a plucker, and we hope to one day break him of the habit.

This is Beautiful. She is a(assumed) ~25 year old Scarlet Macaw and is one I'm hoping to adopt, if she ever decides to choose me. She was a rescue. She used to be a neglected breeder bird who had no name. When she first came into the rescue, she was so malnourished that she had poor balance and could barely support herself, let alone walk gracefully. Her mate died from the damage of the neglect shortly after arriving at the rescue. Her and Quincy play this back and forth game of hard to get. I'm hoping she will learn to accept Quincy, and Quincy will learn to accept her. I often feel bad for Quincy, as he does not speak the same body language as my babies, as he is a mature parrot. They're social, and I feel he needs a friend he can relate to while I'm at work. Both Quincy and Beautiful pluck, and have a not so perfect past. Things are going very well for all of us, though Beautiful seems more interested in Quincy's companionship than mine. Quincy still prefers me any day of the week but will accept Beautiful's attention when she's not playing hard to get with him.

These are my two bonded boys, Scruff, the Military Macaw(the green one), and Rosco, the Blue and Gold Macaw. They will both be 3 in May. They're extremely good talkers and talk to each other all day. They'll talk to me, as well. They even learned how to talk to the goose, like I do! They're extremely goofy, fun to be around, but a huge responsibility(just as a cautionary statement, 'cause so many see that they talk and are fun, but they're a lot of work).

This is Nirmala, our 3 year old Umbrella Cockatoo. She is our only female parrot, so she's our treasured little girl.~ She prefers the company of humans over other birds. If she had a say in it, she would stay clung to us, all day, but we limit our physical contact each day to avoid behavioral problems from developing, that cockatoos are known for. She is the sweetest and most sociable parrot we have, and everybody instantly falls in love with her endearing personality. Don't let her sweetness fool you, however, when she gets good and going she's loud, proud, and in charge. She's a diva and has to be the center of attention at all costs, even if that means making a scene by shrieking and flapping furiously.

Bhaskara, a very independent Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo. Up until recently I haven't been able to physically interact with him for two years, and my fiance has been limited during that duration, as well. We think he may of felt resentment for us, the whole time, when he got separated from a friend after we purchased him from the store(yes, we shopped at first, now we adopt). They've been reunited about 6 months ago and he seems to have mellowed out a lot and lets us give him affection again...

This is Zeki, Bhaskara's friend. He is a Panama Amazon, roughly 3 years old, same age as Bhaskara(were hatch mates, cage mates, etc for 6 months prior to bringing home Bhaskara). Zeki, being an Amazon, is sometimes grumpy. He used to be an absolute terror, drawing blood on anyone that walked by me or talked to me, and even drawing my own blood in a fit of jealous rage, as he bonded to me after Bhaskara disappeared from the scene. After coming home, he did a complete 180. I think the store really stressed him out. He is an amazing talker, extremely intelligent, and a quick learner. I talk with him all day as I go about the house.

This is Angel, the Embden Goose(duck we no longer have). I talk to her by going,"Abupbupbup!" and she honks or mutters back to me.

Marceline, Red/Rust Doberman Pinscher, and Sarge, Brindle Pitbull(supposedly Razor's Edge line?). Sarge was found off the streets, no one ever claimed him, so he just became a part of the family. He's a big lovable dope, while Marcy is a nervous, skittish, goofball. She does not tolerate strangers in her home unless they are given permission. She does fine in public, but is not affectionate towards strangers, simply tolerates them. Sarge doesn't care who ya are, he'll bowl you over trying to love on you.

Jinxi, our lil' spoiled Phalene(floppy eared Papillon). He's a cutey that looooves attention.

Runty, a cat that ended up being a surprise. I've known her since she was a day old. My mother rescued a cat from under a car during the chill of winter... went out to dinner.. came back to 6 more cats. She was preggers! Runty's my timid little girl. She's a real sweetheart to those she knows, but you won't even see a hint of her if she doesn't know you.

This is Jinna, my eldest cat. I adopted her, as a kitten, when I was 7 and she's been with me through lots. She may be old and whiney these days, but I still love her.~ She's 100% healthy and plays like a kitten. I'm so happy she's in such amazing health for her age.~

This is Griffin, our crazy hyper 4 month old kitten. He's a ball of fluffy energy.

And here's some artwork. This is a tat I'm working on for my cousin. It's still in the inking process, as you can see.
