New to the forum and saying hey....Just getting back into herps after many years off and have been looking for a good/active forum. Guess my look's over. Recently picked up a juvenile retic and a neonate EDB to start myself off; and seriously considering a molossus at the next show.
Here's a few pics I took of my male retic yesterday after a good shed. Hope you enjoy....

I was in the same boat when I landed here. I think facebook has killed off most of the old forums. This one seems to be the most active, but things have definitely changed. This is a nice, friendly forum, but seems to be geared mostly towards, or at least made up mostly of, beginners. No offense to anyone here. Certainly a lot of you know a lot more than I do.

Thanks All.....My EDB's in blue right now but I'll post a few once she sheds. Looking forward to getting my first good look at her myself.

That sounds fine here.....I'm sure to many on the board I'd be considered a beginner myself. Looking forward to being here and the opportunity to share a little of the experience I've gained over the years.
Welcome! I just joined as well. This forum really adds on to reptile husbandry knowledge.

Very nice little platinum tiger. Doesn't look like it has much dwarf blood if any.

This is just a reply test. Last two replies were rejected due to links. Before I do it all over again without links...

Guess it was just the links....
You know, I'm not sure how much dwarf he has in him; but it will be a good question to ask the next time I see him. I wasn’t planning on breeding him and it was the end of the day, but I would like to know. And thanks everyone for the compliments on him. I’ll continue to post a few pics he gets older.
Jrich. I've never really researched it so I could be wrong on this, but I've always considered a neonate a baby (Up to three or four months maybe), and a juvenile on up to a year or so.
Reptiledude. That was answered but I respect you're knowing that a retic is a huge responsibility. I hope you get that Super Dwarf someday...

A neonate is a baby.

Adding the rest of that sentence regarding the question on up to three or four months wouldn't have made me look quite so bad ;)
Hi, really nice, freshly shedded retic! I envy you sooo much, one day I'll buy an Anaconda and I will beat you.

Reptiledude/jrich....I re-read my posts and apologize. I haven't been here long enough to know anything about you or your working knowledge/skill level; and I didn't mean to disrespect you in any way.
SSSSnakes.....I've seen enough posts browsing the forum to recognize that you by far surpass my abilities or knowledge in every way. It's great to know that you're here as a resource. I was kind of wondering why you lashed out a little bit but after re-reading my post I can understand. I'll do my best in the future to treat everyone with the respect they deserve.
