Do you sell them? I'd really like to do something I never could do with eunuch cats and short, crossbred dogs nobody wanted :'(...

Are you talking about snakes? If so i sell my babies. I do have a couple unrelated hold backs that will be paired together when they are old enough.

Is it legal? I don't know how it works in your country but in mine you are given a document with the animal's and the owner's details you must keep in case of controls!

Minkness

I think you need to rephrase what you are trying to say. To me, this sounds like you want to watch maggots feeding on small dogs and cats. =/

Niten
01-05-15, 03:03 AM
Lol, it isn't true, marvel understood me T_T

Minkness
01-05-15, 03:11 AM
I'm sure that's not what you meant lol

I'm just saying that's how it may sound to some (apparently like me). So if you have a question, ask it simply so that there is less confusion.

Are you asking about breeding snakes? Or how people keep multiple pet snakes? Does who sell what? What do cats and dogs have to do with anything?

Niten
01-05-15, 03:41 AM
You need to study english language and italian behaviour more. :nerd:
Asking an Italian to get serious? Good luck.

SnoopySnake
01-05-15, 10:05 AM
And why exactly does he/she need to study English? I agree, just ask the question normally. You'll probably get more answers then.

Niten
01-05-15, 11:39 AM
Thanks snoopy, your opinion was much appreciated!

Anyway, can anyone be so kind, considering it's so important for you, to highlight my mistakes? What is it that you don't understand? I really don't get it.

Minkness
01-05-15, 11:54 AM
I all ready pointed out the confusion.

"Carnivore worm" makes it seem like you're talking about some kind of flesh eating worm, not a snake.

Niten
01-05-15, 01:28 PM
Tu quoque, Cosmicowl, fili mi... Oh come on guys it's not a mistake... you could get it. -.-" Is there any worm-looking beast they talk about here around besides snakes...? This is getting quite ridiculous, I'm starting to feel like an alien... Hello, I came in peace...

+1

And since I don't speak italian, I have no idea what you are saying.

We are not being mean, but if you have a question you should ask it it in the simplest way so there is no confusion due to a language barrier. There are others on this site where english is a 2nd language and so far I have not witness such complications in their posts. Be it questions or comments.

Niten

It looks quite... strange actually, this is the first time in my entire life I find it hard to be understood by anglo-saxon people, it Really looks like the problem is somewhere else. Let's take snoopy, he came just to defend minkness, correct me on something we don't know and tell me nobody wants to speak with me, not knowing how badly wrong he is, considering that I started a couple of 2 pages posts after a week from registration.
They say there is no worst deaf than who doesn't want to hear.

CosmicOwl

We're not trying to be mean, but this honestly reads like gibberish.

Where do you put all those sweet little carnivore worms?
Do you sell them? I'd really like to do something I never could do with eunuch cats and short, crossbred dogs nobody wanted :'(...

The context and phrasing of your original post was confusing. I did come to realize that you were talking about breeding snakes, but it wasn't clear at first.

Niten
01-05-15, 01:52 PM
I'm sorry, I don't understand what other creature I could have been speaking about. Can you explain this, please?

SnoopySnake
01-05-15, 02:12 PM
What? I wasn't defending anyone just asking what makes you think they need to study their English and I also just said you'll probably get more answers if you just say what you mean. Never did I say no one wants to speak with you or did I correct you. I suggested that because I also had no clue what you meant till I read the other posts. And the other creatures you could have been talking about are the cats, dogs and worms that you mentioned. As CosmicOwl said, the original posts phrasing and context was confusing.

Niten
01-05-15, 02:25 PM
Yes sure, I was talking about breeding short dogs, eunuch cats and worms. That's what I came here for. Sorry guys, enough is enough...

Minkness
01-05-15, 03:59 PM
We aren't attacking you. Just saying that in order to prevent confusion, say things simply. We are here to share knowledge and experience but we can't do that if we don't understand you.

Honestly the title of the post made me think of worms also.
I have pets that eat worms so that Is why I thought of it.

I think minkness thought the same by the fact there is a leopard gecko as their picture.
Your english is a tiny bit off on some spots so it made it a tad confusing here and there.

But we all understand you're talking about snakes Now.

Niten

Are lizards fed with carnivore worms?

Searching on google it looks like I would probably be the only carnivore worm breeder around. It sounds like a good business. But I still don't understand.

ManSlaughter33
01-05-15, 04:44 PM
They are fed with lots of different kind of worms..
and they bite. and hurt.

I had also never heard the term "carnivore worm"

Minkness
01-05-15, 05:38 PM
Maggots are carnivorous worms as are many parasites.

Maggots eat rotten flesh/meat parasites eat live flesh depending on the type.

Yes, lizards eat worms. Mine eat super worms which have a tendency to eat eachother, making them mot only 'carnivores' but also cannibals.

Fish and turtles eat worms, garter snakes eat worms, and there are people who breed such things to provide our pets with healthy, high quality worms. So, a worm breeder wouldn't be completely unheard of.

There is no reason to become defensive because someone is confused by your choice of words. As I have told you before, even people who speak the same language may get confused by what someone else says vs what they actually mean.

Also a little rude to put words in someone's mouth. Snoopy never said no one likes talking to you, nor did snoopy ever correct you.

Maybe now that we know what the question was about, we can focus on it :) I would like to reproduce my snake some day, but I don't know what would I do with so many little mouths to fed (and us mexicans know how to reproduce lol)

hahahah Rattlehead that made me laugh.

I thought about breeding my girl. Her colors are beautiful. But I
may just keep her as a loved pet. Forced to be a virgin.:D

Be careful of virgin births, she can still reproduce even without a male, but it hardly ever happens!

Over here you don't have to have paper work to sell snakes but some of the rare snakes or really high dollar snake people will ask for proof of lineage.

Take Diamond pythons for example there are so many cross out there that I wouldn't buy one with out proof of lineage to prove it was a 100% Diamond.

But yes to answer your question I do sell the babies. This last year was my first time breeding and I got two clutches of Sumatra short tail pythons (black bloods) and one clutch of Dumeril boas. I have sold about half of them. Once the weather warms up and I can start shipping again I hope to sell the rest before the new babies are born.

Kuamata, a little rude is when you enter a topic just to correct someone without giving any answer imho, or when you can't really say anything without being put silly words in your mouth. Anyway no, I'm not breeding maggots. ^^"

Rose do you mind my asking and this is just an innocent question why do you endorse your pups not for breeding yet you are a breeder yourself?

I agree. I work in a call center and encounter at least 3 people that messed up every day. sometimes I wonder if these people tie their own shoes or if someone does it for them (velcro is a viable option as well).

I understood it just fine, for a foreign language he speaks very well. His humor was not understood, his english is fine. I also understood carnivorous worms as snakes. Its not easy to articulate what you mean in a second language when its only textual lol I dont keep any snakes currently, so I will leave that to those who do. He wants to know how keeping and breeding captive animals works in your country, which I think is an interesting question.

It was more than just a language gap SMY. His other posts were removed due to his terrible conduct towards others.

I've done call center work for the US, UK, Ireland, and Scotland over the span of 3 years... US is the worst, you meet some real loonies. There was one lady that called in for an extra iPhine return box. When asked why she needed an additional box, she said she ate it. :/ You got the loonies, the idiots, and then the downright rude. My last job at a call center was with the government. Thank god I was allowed to hang up on rude people there. At my other locations, I had to accept the verbal abuse and just 'smile'. Blehck. It sucked, at times, both with rude people and sad situations that you can't help... but I admittedly loved it. I wish I hadn't of moved so far from my government position, it was a sweet deal... but sometimes you can't help the situation you get put in, where we moved was the only place we could get a loan for.

Yeah. My job is researching, approving, and denying insurance claims for cell phones. And when customers get super upset I have to tell them bad news and stick to it. I get yelled at, cussed at, told I'm stupid and have no care for humanity on a regular basis. Luckily, when it gets bad, I can hang up on them so long as I give them 1 chance to calm down lol.

The way some people act, you'd think they'd lost a limb instead of a phone. =/

First one was Medicare Part D. Mostly dealing with the elderly. I dealt with loonies, rude people, and sad situations... It was hard telling someone they couldn't refill their medication that, for example, regulated their heart. The plan company I represented was not very good, so I frequently got stuck in those kinds of situations, where I had to deny someone very important medications. I felt so bad to have to do that to them, but I was just a CSR. I couldn't magically make that important medication have refills left, or have an extra emergency refill after they had already used their one time emergency... and you bet they got upset and angry. I agreed with them, that it was wrong, but I couldn't say that as a professional representing the company.

Second one was Apple iOS support for UK, Ireland, and Scotland. Nice people, not too many bad ones.

Third one was for Obamacare(don't kill me lol). You bet we had lots of loonies and angries, especially since I was enrolling during the first release. That... Was... A HUGE MESS. I could tell you so many bad things about that first release, but I'd rather not blather on for too long, lol. We even had suicide and bomb threats, and were trained on what to do if someone threatened suicide and/or killed themselves on the line... While helping process PDF applications(the site was so bad for the first few weeks we admittedly acted like we were on the website but were saving tons and tons of PDF applications over the phone and processing them, and it eventually got so backed up that CSRs were selected to go off the phones to help the PDF teams process them) I actually did come across a suicide call. It was rough... At the end of the day, though, I'd go back if I lived closer.

Can I rant about how horrible they are when you call into them for help?

reptiledude987

Oh yes I'm sure we all have some stories from both ends of the phone. As a consumer I know how it is too because I hear the dumb stuff our agents say also.

Haha, all the ones that got me and that I could help were always really happy. :) I frequently got asked if they could reach me personally the next time they needed assistance, but all the locations I worked for were the kind where you were just routed an inbound call at random, no way of someone personally calling you. I was ranked #15 top CSR out of 320 representatives on site, at Obamacare, and #1158 best out of 15000+ nationwide. Got 5/5 scores on everything but what we called PPoM, basically not apologizing enough. I stopped doing it for -everything-, like what they wanted, because in my prior positions people got really mad when I constantly apologized. :/

That needs to be a thread. I work in a call center too right now (new job in two weeks!) and I've got some stories that I could share...
