Hammering down the cold beers now. Will probably take a few nips of slivovitze. It's a Czech moonshine made from plums.

No moonshine, I like Drambuie and Lord Calvert, aka a rusty nail, with a bit of honey. Very smooth and sweet, goes down easy.

i always keep a couple of bottles of Poitin...pronouned pocheen,which is Irish moonshine.i have one made from potatoes and a plum poitin,mines was made by an old Irishmen in his seventies and it's probally 0ver 90% proof,2 small glasses (nips) and that does you all night :yes:

dude....i had slivovitze recently. my esophagus filed a formal protest. something to the effect of 2nd degree burns. holy cow. hard core. needless to say, i'm still trying to make amends with my esophagus and laying off the czech moonshine for awhile :)
