Bed Time?

When setting up my cage, I read something about snakes requiring dark for like 10-12 hours. Is this true? I have a day and black light heater. But want to know if they actually do need the dark time.

Yes. Kind of like people actually need a day and night schedule, all animals should have a time of darkness.

i give all my Carpets correct light cycles according to which season it is mate

imo when it comes to breeding,light cycles are just as important as temperature cycles (brumation)

Mine have natural light from the window in the room they're currently in but I've never had any problems when they didn't.
