Well its time ... I'm getting a burmese python. And yes I know all the issues I'm getting into and this is not the thread to discuss those. I just want to know what other keepers kept their babies in. And if yiu a ababy, pics are welcome. ... like tubs, cages, ect....

Thanks.

Personally we kept ours in large tubs for a short period of time with heat mats on stats, and moved them into vivs asap. Our vivs are very minimal as we found the larger the snakes got the more they bulldozed everything. It became an almost daily ocerence to have to hang plants and arrange logs. If yor going for a more natural looking viv set up check out David VB on here his set up us top notch :)

I used tubs for the first few months of my burm's life. Cheap and cheerful. They'll outgrow 'em quick, so be prepared to bump up to a 4x2 within the year.

. . .or you could also go straight for a 4x2 and just provide lots of hides and features for the snake to feel less exposed. That might actually be a better option. You're building/buying one anyway. :)

When you do get your burm, pictures please!
