Colubrid enclosure size help

hi everyone. I'm looking to build an enclosure based off of one I found on here. I was wondering what the proper measurements would be for Florida and California King snakes home. I will attach the photo of the enclosure I found.

3x2 minimum, 4x2 would be better. This is for an adult animal. Also colubrids are generally very active animals, and will use any and all space you can provide.

okay I will go with the 4x2 I want to give them enough room. hopefully I can do it right and get it done by the time they are out of brumation. thanks for the help

I agree , 4x2 is a great all around size. I have 3 enclosures of this size.

I agree with 4 x 2. I have an adult grey banded king in a 3 x 2, and even being a smaller kingsnake I feel she could use bigger.

animal plastics, constrictors northwest, boaphile, boamaster, pvccages, herpcages, powerhouse displays, showcase cages.

I've used some on that list and the ones I have not, have a good following.

You can check out the prices on their websites. As far as quality goes, they are all similar. It's just a matter of preference to their design. Some have single drop down/swinging hinged doors, others have the option for sliding glass doors, some come pre-assembled, others are knockdown..etc. Just go over those and see what you like.

Most of those cages are made from PVC except for Constrictors NW and Showcase. Constrictors NW is made from HDPE. Almost nothing sticks to HPDE and it is very stain resistant so that's what make it stand out from the rest.

I personally like animal plastics, and just recently ordered a stack.
