hello everyone I want to build a basic vision cage that I can stack. I found one someone made on here (and if I did it right the picture should be attached to this thread). but I'm unsure of the measurements to use. so my question is for an adult Florida and California kingsnake what would be a proper sized enclosure?

I say give them as much space as you can. Ideally a 4x2x2 would be great but you could go a little smaller.

I'm with El-Ziggy on this one. I have mine in cages built by Constrictor's Northwest and chose the Carpet Python model which is 36x23x14. It's a good size for full grown Hondurans, but if I had it to do over, I'd have gone for the 48" in model.

I also agree. Truth be told, I have my adult Cal Kings in 18x36 inch enclosures and those are perfect for them, but if I had Florida's I would want more space. 2x4 would be ideal, and if you can't find the space for something 2 ft high, you could smush it down to 12 in. and still have plenty of height for a kingsnake.

OK 4x2x2 sounds like a winner thank you so much easier every one! I appreciate the help.

Thats my cage! lol I feel slightly honored that you used it as an example. I went with 4'x2'x18" mostly so it didn't get so tall so fast when I stack them. Also, less volume to maintain temps/humidity. Good luck!
