thought id post a picture of my African rock post shed. the iridescent on this snake is ridiculous.

Beautiful snake....i just wonder about one thing....temperament? Usually they are not so friendly :)

This is by far the tamest large python I have had. In my thread "African rock python question " there's a picture of me holding him. He did not start off that way and at 11 feet he wasn't the easiest snake to tame down... Now he's gained length and girth and is very very tame.

Stunning snake! .. I am just trawling all the threads for Rock Python information. I take delivery of a Het Albino baby male African Rock Python this week :-)
The first words that came to mind were, "Oh Neat!". Beautiful snake! :)

This is because they haven't been bred to the extent that other species have. This is a common complaint among animals that aren't produced in captivity frequently. Retics were frequently thought to have terrible attitudes, however with increased captive breeding they have calmed down. We're seeing the same thing with blood pythons and a. rocks now as well.
