I switched over to T-Rex Sani-Chips bedding a while back and love it. While it's still messy (all over the floor) in front of the enclosures, it does not have splinters like Aspen which is a big plus to me since I almost always go bare foot around the house. Anyway, I'm ready to buy my next batch of Sani-Chips and would like to buy in bulk since storage isn't a problem for me. I've purchased from Pet Mountain in the past and they have been fine, but they are all out of this product so I thought I'd check to see if others here might know of a cheaper source. Thanks in advance for any recommendations you care to share.

Jim, I purchase my sani chips here: I don't know what the other sites charge but it's not too bad.

I would also like to find a bulk supplier as well with cheaper pricing.

The cost of bedding has been a major expense here too. Even kraft paper is expensive if you have large snakes. I think the only way to make it more affordable is to purchase through a local source. I'm going to try finding bulk cypress and unprinted newspaper myself.
I get mine at Pet360 as well

Have you looked into getting mulch or bark from a nursery or greenhouse? I guarnatee thats where sani chips and repti bark come from.

I've never used sani chips. Bedding is cheap here though. Depending on the enclosure I use flat newspaper sheets, shredded paper from the paper shredder, or 100% organic peat moss from Lowes or Home Depot ($10 for a huge bale).
