View Full Version : What should I buy?

I'm thinking of setting some money aside for either:

A.) a male blackheaded python

B.) a pair of diamond pythons

Given that my female BHP won't be able to produce for quite some time I'm unsure if I should hold off on buying a male or just get some diamond pythons since they are really beautiful and large. They also seem like a good species to breed, and are apparently easy to breed, just need a cooler season. So any input guys?

That's a dilemma bud. Both are very attractive animals.

For me it would be easy, i would get the diamonds. :D BHP's are nice but definitely not my favorite.

My vote is for the diamonds as well. I love blackheads but Diamonds are hands down my favorite between the two.

Blackhead python is really nice animal but I love Morelia so I will go for M. spilota spilota aka diamond python especially black and white one :)

Still undecided, but your input is helping me. If I get diamonds I don't have those yet so it would be cool to have something new but it would be nice to have a second BHP. At the last Hamburg show I saw some stunning diamonds that were juvies and at a pretty good price. So the price for a pair would probably run me as much as one BHP. I'll let you guys know what I decide when the time comes though! I'm just slightly more in favor of diamonds even though my BHP is a truly awesome snake.
