Hello all. I've just found this forum and joined. I'm a Brit living in Singapore and have been fascinated with snakes since I was a boy at school and our biology lab had a python (on loan from another student) that we played with during some lessons. That was back in the 70's (yes i'm that old...). I've been working in Asia now for 22 years and the natural wildlife out here continues to fascinate me. So much so that I've been building a small site for my daughter who also shares my interest in nature.

So why have I joined sSnakes.com? Primarily to learn more about snakes so I can become more knowledgeable and share the information on to my kids and others. And... also to satisfy my own fascination in these amazing creatures!!

Help Please: I'm looking for really good sites where I can get current information on the following;

Largest Snakes in the world
Most venomous snakes in the world
Best snakes for pets
Best tanks for keeping snakes
What makes snakes special in the animal kingdom? (kids fun facts etc..)

.. and so on. I realise there are thousands of sites full of this information out there, I've been trawling through many of them. I was wondering if anyone on this forum has preferred best sites they go to or can recommend some really good ones to use for gathering this type of info please?
