I currently own one mexican black king snake and one leucistic texas rat snake with belly heats (85 F) on separate thermostats . My room temperature is 80 during the day and 76 during the night , controlled by a heater on a thermostat. so here is the problem MBK snakes prefer bit hotter temps while Leucies prefer colder temperatures, ideally speaking ill keep my room between 78-82 for MBK and 74-78 for my leucy but i guess 80 day and 76 night is not a bad compromise so far but i am planning to add few more snakes to my collection including a hognose, a corn and a ball python. I can easily provide them with separate belly heats on separate thermostats but the problem of room temperature exaggerates as ball python prefer much higher room temps compared to colubrids. I mean 76F night time temperature is to low for a ball python , as far as i seen and read online . so my questions is how can i resolve this issue, what day and night temps will be optimal for both ball and my other colubrids given that they each have already have belly heat on separate thermostats. .I am new to snakes ( bit over a year )but they fasinated me all my life and i believe in providing most optimal conditions and care to any life under my care. Any help, comments or advice will be highly appreciated
