I'm sure everyone has seen the once a month packages that are sent out by various companies which contain a bunch of random goodies associated with a random topic. How many of you would be interested in a Herp version? You go to the website, check which reptiles you are interested in, and each month you receive a grab bag full of random goodies?. Just trying to gauge the interest at this point. Just like if you would be interested in such a program!:):):):)

Actually depends on what might be in the bag. I never buy raffle tickets for the grab bags at the fish club meetings after seeing the contents. Already have more stuff that never gets used kicking around, not particularly interested in adding more random useless items to the collection.

the aim would be not only to provide "accessories" but also useful items as well....bedding, feeders, cleaning supplies, etc. The goal is to include a mix of fun and the necessities.
I suppose the next question is,
you as the potential consumer, given your knowledge of how pricey some supplies and accessories can run, what price would you feel comfortable paying per month for such a bag?

In all honesty I am interested but not sure if I would use such a service. to be 100% truthful I would probably try it for a month or so and see what it is like.

What could you give on a monthly basis that runs out by next month? Very few items.
For snakes as an example, I don't need anything on a month to month basis. When I was using aspen I was buying it in huge quantities for $20 that would last me 6 months.
It's a great idea but you'd have to look deeper into it. Probably the lizard side of things.
Also, there's an organization called Welcome Wagon up here. When you move into a new house someone comes by with a small care package with lots of different things in it. That might be something you would want to look into. A care package that is sent out to new owners.
You'd have to give the stores an incentive to send out that information to you though.

OK guys! Our team has been working on a website and we have taken your comments into consideration! This is what we have come up with!
We still think the grab bad idea is an exciting twist on things, so we will keep that concept, but in addition we have come up with an alternative for those who want to know what they will be receiving.
We will offer "restocking" shipments every 1, 3, or 6 months based on your preference and needs. This eliminates the need to constantly reorder, and you only get what you need when you want it! We though some of you might find this idea intriguing.
In addition, we are going to offer a complete enclosure kit for those of you interested in spiderlings/scorplings. We have noticed that no major supplier offers such a product, yet the community seems to be fairly large. We have included that product as well for those who are interested.
We will also be offering a welcome package for those new to the hobby who have just purchased a new animal. It is essentially a kit which contains everything you need to get started.
Please check out the website if you are interested, and if you guys have any ideas or neat products that you think we should put up, feel free to email me and we can try to work together to advertise your product as well!

I work in the pet trade and am not a big fan of the package ideas. Most kits give you items you don't need or want and the items they give you are bare minimum. For example many kits give you the wrong kind of heating lights and the max. watt on the light fixtures are normally 60 watt. I find it may cost a little more, but buying what you need piece by piece, you get better quality and what you want and need. I have checked out your site and don't think I want to waste money on surprise packages.
This is only my opinion and I do wish you the best of luck on your business adventure.

Your photos look like they were shot with a potato, may want to think about getting higher-res pictures. I would also list items in each package as bullet points rather in one big paragraph.

Looks cleaner and more professional that way.
